Our Next Assignment

Dave and I finally found out this week where we will be living next year. He was just told of his next assignment and it is in Hawaii.

This will be my first time living away from family. It will also be my first time living out of the state of Alabama. I am excited! I've always wanted to travel the world and see different places. There aren't a lot of people that can say they had a chance to live in such a beautiful place.  

I've informed Dave that his biggest problem may be getting me to leave when it's time. He will be under a two year contract. I know there will be challenges with trying to get everything there, finding me a job, and worrying about my retirement. Still all of that does not surpass the excitement I have to join my husband and best friend in one of the most beautiful places on earth. Every situation is what you make it and we are thrilled about starting a life together in Hawaii.

It is my hope that we will meet new people, enjoy the beach, explore the islands, and have a lot of guests from the states while we are there.
