Dave's First visit home from South Korea

Dave was able to spend a week with me in October. We had a wonderful time together. It started with a little surprise on his birthday (I showed up a day early) in New Orleans. We were able to go out and have a nice dinner together. I also got to attend my first JAG dinner with my husband. He claims he enjoyed showing me off that night, but he's the one that managed to stand out in a room full of dress blues.

We came back to Prattville together and I'm sure he was impressed by my packing skills. We were able to fit two bags of luggage and 4 other rather large bags in my trunk. For those of you who do not know I drive a crossfire with only two seats.

My husband got to work making sure my house was ready to sell and threw out so much mess left from years of other people thinking my house and shied were storage facilities. In one week he bought me a new dishwasher, fixed light fixtures, landscaped my back yard, landscaped my front lawn, organized, cleaned, cooked for me, made my lunch, and drove me to school (okay the last one probably was because he had to...we only had one vehicle). He was one little busy bee...oh yeah that reminds me he also killed a wasp nest that looked like the Atlantis for bees in my back yard.

While Dave was home we also had the opportunity to get some pictures made by Kelli Reeves Photography. She and Allison Wilks do an amazing job with pictures. It was so much fun loving on my husband for about an hour and having them capture those sweet moments. Thank you ladies.
